CV and Resume Writing: Preparing for an Effective Job Search, sponsored by NIH Office of Intramural Training and Education and REDI, will cover:

  • Differences between resumes and CVs, when to use each, and how to write and edit these documents to attract employers more effectively.
  • How to prepare for a job fair, how to take advantage of time spent at a fair, and how to follow up with employers after the fair.
  • Specific information about how to approach employers, how to dress for the fair, what to take along, etc.

Note: attendance at this event will qualify you to participate in the popular CV slam, obtaining personal feedback on your document.
